American Institute for Economic Research Organized in 1933 as a private, independent, scientific, and educational charitable organization, the American Institute for Economic Research plans its research to help individuals protect their personal interests and those of the Nation. The Institute represents no fund, concentration of wealth, or other special interests. Its financial support comes primarily from the small annual fees of thousands of sustaining members, from sales of its publications, and from tax-deductible contributions.
Cato Institute The Cato Institute was founded in 1977 by Edward H. Crane. This non-profit public policy research foundation has been a leader in the fight to reform Social Security. The Institute is named for Cato's Letters, a series of libertarian pamphlets that helped lay the philosophical foundation for the American Revolution.
Citizens Against Government Waste Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) is a private, non-partisan, non-profit organization representing more than one million members and supporters nationwide. CAGW's mission is to eliminate waste, mismanagement, and inefficiency in the federal government. Founded in 1984 by the late industrialist J. Peter Grace and syndicated columnist Jack Anderson, CAGW is the legacy of the President's Private Sector Survey on Cost Control, also known as the Grace Commission.

Competitive Enterprise Institute The Competitive Enterprise Institute is a non-profit public policy organization dedicated to the principles of free enterprise and limited government. We believe that consumers are best helped not by government regulation but by being allowed to make their own choices in a free marketplace. Since its founding in 1984, CEI has grown into a $3,000,000 institution with a team of nearly 40 policy experts and other staff.

freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense. Institute for Policy Innovation The Institute for Policy Innovation is a tax-exempt, 501 (c) (3) organization that believes in lower taxes, fewer regulations, and a smaller, less-intrusive government.

Plus Association, Inc. The 60 Plus Association is a non-partisan
seniors advocacy group with a free enterprise, less government, less taxes
approach to seniors issues. 60 Plus has set ending the federal estate tax and
saving Social Security for the young as its top priorities. 60 Plus is often
viewed as the conservative alternative to the AARP. Social Security Choice.org Social Security Choice.org supports local chapters in a variety of educational activities, including speakers' bureaus, activity meetings, newsletters, and distribution of materials to new voters and young families. Social Security Choice.org also assists in efforts to let Congress know how much support already exists for Social Security Choice. These efforts include letter-writing campaigns, earned media programs, office meetings and special events. Local chapters can be established on a university campus, in a neighborhood or community, or across an entire Congressional District.

UI's Income and Benefits Policy Center studies how income support, social insurance (including Social Security), tax, and employee-benefit programs affect the behavior and economic well-being of families.
